Despite the economic climate in Europe, opportunities still exist in a number of locations for experienced professionals, and especially those with language skills. Many firms have refocused recently towards European regionalisation and hence there are excellent opportunities for you to diversify your career. In contrast to other global locations, Europe has far less of an ‘expat’ feel and for accountancy and tax jobs in locations such as Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Poland you will find an extremely cosmopolitan environment.

Integral’s coverage of the European jobs market includes all of the main business hubs and a number of growth economies:

- Luxembourg
- Spain
- Belgium
- Austria
- Switzerland
- France
- Portugal
- Poland
- Germany
- The Netherlands
- Czech Republic
- Hungary

Whether you are looking  for a job to utilise your languages in Western Europe or immerse yourself in the challenge and excitement of working in Eastern Europe, Integral is ideally placed to advise on your next move. We have developed strong relations with major firms in the financial services and can offer a variety of tax, risk and audit jobs for qualified professionals that are looking to further their careers.

Remuneration and Benefits

Remuneration  for accountancy and tax jobs in Europe is reasonably consistent. If you are moving to a new location you can expect to receive a similar package to a local employee at the same level. With the strength of the euro and the lower cost of living in Europe, certain packages are becoming increasingly competitive with the UK and the US. Similarly, remuneration for jobs in Eastern Europe is often paid in US dollars and includes benefits such as a housing allowance.

Lifestyle

Your particular location within Europe will determine exactly what is available to you day to day, but one thing is certain; wherever you are you will have an endless amount of culture and activity to immerse yourself in. From the alpine countryside of Switzerland to the cafés and restaurants of Paris, the long warm evenings of Madrid to the beer in Prague, you could not ask for more outside of the office.
