BDO Stoy Hayward has expanded its international network with the opening of a new office in Dubai.

The company, which is the UK arm of the global BDO International network, has made the move in order to increase its ability to provide corporate finance and restructuring work across the Middle East.

Known as BDO Corporate Finance (Middle East), the base is to be headed up by corporate finance partner Jon Breach, who stated: "Having experts on the ground with specialist knowledge will provide a better service to our clients, which is why we have opened the dedicated regional office."

Simon Michaels, managing partner, added that Mr Breach, who is relocating to the emirate from London, will be bringing a "wealth of experience" and will have the ability to use the firm's employees in the UK for support if necessary.

Last month, BDO Stoy Hayward completed the merger of its Hong Kong member firm BDO McCabe Lo and local audit business Shu Lun Pan Horwath Hong Kong. ADNFCR-1739-ID-19188789-ADNFCR
