Deloitte-designed business course is "highly valuable"

Audit jobs provider Deloitte is taking part in an initiative to help give experience to students studying at Warwick Business School.

The company has helped design a module that is included on the information systems and management court offered by the institution, which aims to give students experience of a systems integration consulting project similar to that seen in the business world.

Deloitte consultant Paul Leigh said that the firm has the advantage of being able to provide an insight "that really brings the theory to life and helps students understand how it applies to businesses".

A total of 72 Masters students took the course over the past five weeks and assistant professor of information systems at Warwick Business School David Finnegan said that the course - which is now in its second year - has been "highly valuable".

Deloitte is currently ranked second in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers, behind PricewaterhouseCoopers.
