It has been announced that Deutsche Bank have appointed a new global head of rates research.

The selection of Dominic Konstam to the role will see him deal with fixed income investigations worldwide.

Anshu Jain, head of global markets and member of the management board, noted that he is confident that Mr Konstam will prove to be a major asset to the company and their clients.

"Dominic brings a wealth of knowledge and important client relationships to our platform, which will enhance our research product offering and further our success in the rates market," he added.

Mr Konstam has been working in this field for over 18 years and most recently held a similar position with Credit Suisse, where he oversaw macro strategy, derivatives and treasury research.

PricewaterhouseCoopers recently confirmed that Mohammad Khan would be promoted by the company as its new Islamic finance leader, stating that he has over 11 years' of expertise in this field.
