KPMG appoints new head of pensions

01/06/2010 KPMG appoints new head of pensionsAndrew Cawley has been appointed as UK head of pensions at KPMG, it has been announced.

According to the tax, audit and advisory firm, Mr Cawley will take up his new job role on July 1st after 15 years heading up its northern pensions practice in Manchester.

He will succeed Alastair McLeish, who was recently named as new head of tax and pensions across the UK at the company.

Mr Cawley expressed his delight at the news, commenting he aims to assist the business achieve revenues of £100 million over the next couple of years.

"Our pensions business is in great shape after experiencing 10 per cent year-on-year growth for the last five years and I very much hope to build on this success to date," he added.

It was also announced last week that former senior vice-president at Jefferies & Company Bob Keller will join Deutsche Bank as managing director in global credit trading at the firm's global markets division.
