KPMG partner makes Management Today list

03/07/2009 KPMG partner makes Management Today list A tax partner at KPMG has been included in Management Today's 35 Women Under 35 list for 2009.

Melissa Geiger, who leads the company's financial services mergers and acquisitions tax team at its London office, has been named on the list - which recognises the best-performing young women in UK businesses.

Head of tax at KPMG Sue Bonney described Ms Geiger - who became a partner in 2008 - as a "hugely talented tax professional".

"We are very proud that her enormous career success achieved so early in her professional life has been recognised," she said.

Ms Geiger added that she is "absolutely delighted" with her inclusion, something that may be a target for women currently working in tax jobs.

Last month Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers was ranked inside the top ten of the 2009 Top 50 Best Brands of British Origin survey, conducted by Brand Finance.

The company finished ahead of brands such as the BBC and Virgin on the list.
