PwC reveals new partner arrivals

02/07/2009 PwC reveals new partner arrivalsPricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) legal practice has announced the admission of 33 new partners.

The appointments take effect from July 1st 2009 and are in addition to a further 21 partners recruited externally by the organisation over the past year.

Commenting, Ian Powell, PwC chairman and senior partner ,said that he was "delighted" to welcome them to the Big Four firm and that the company was committed to building up "the broadest and deepest range of specialists" in order to more effectively serve clients' needs, something that may interest those searching for risk jobs.

"This partner intake demonstrates our commitment to recruiting and retaining the best talent even in the most challenging business environment in a generation," he added.

Mr Powell also explained that PwC is recruiting 1,000 graduates over the course of the year.

The partner admissions come after the firm was ranked in seventh place in a list of the Best Brands of British Origin by Brand Finance, making it the highest-rated professional services company.
