In 2008 we launched a new Practice Mergers & Acquisitions team dedicated to advising businesses which are looking to grow and develop their market capability.
Our remits have been broad ranging and we are typically engaged by clients who are looking to achieve at least one of the following objectives:
- Establishing in a new geographical location
- Building expertise with a new service line
- Generate economies of scale thereby improving profitability
- Succession planning
- Gaining access to a wider or International network
As part of our service we can also provide integration support. This service guides and supports firms throughout the merger process and includes remuneration benchmarking, role definition and profiling, maximising retention and general strategic support to the practice.
